The Expansion of Brindinford

When Shael, Kryss and Julian were knighted and given a small woodland fief south of Brindinford, ambition was kindled in the heart of Julian, and he sought ever to press out the boundaries of his small domain. Once he had increased its power to the effective limit, turning a lumber camp into a bustling small town surrounded by villages, he turned his eye on the lands surrounding Brindinford.

After a devastating winter befell the area (in which year?), Julian moved swiftly to consolidate power. The following changes have occurred as a result of Dragonfyre interference/assistance throughout the region.

The North
-Storgard is ruled by Lendmann Regdar, and friendly to Brindinford and Onella. They are the hardest pressed by the giant advance.
-The Drylake region is being renamed Julvania in honor of Julian. Sengrad is being renamed Shelgrad. Fiona rules from Argynvostholt. They are minorly pressed by the giant advance.
-Heredon, a powerful territory in its own right, will not be subordinate or even beholden ally, but does provide a friendly northwestern border. The Daughters of Aine’s marriages have brought Heredon into closer allegiance with Dragonfire Dyrr. They are moderately pressed by the giant advance.

The East
-The Hall of Khundrukar is home to a dwarven nation led by Rollo the Hammer. They are hard pressed by the giant advance.
-Blasingdell effectively surrendered to Brindinford, the terms of that surrender have not been determined. They are hard pressed by the giant advance.
-Alsoor is working jointly with Brindinford to govern Albrin, a contested village for many decades. They are moderately pressed by the giant advance.
-Oakhurst is being rebuilt as a fort, after its slaughter by Nattskalla and Anastrasya Sengir.

The South
-Ossington is a refuge for the unsightly and strange. Druidism has taken root as the dominant religion there.
-Almaaz is opposed to nearly everything Brindinford stands for, save the worship of Tal. The rumors that come out of Ossington are of a particular source of ire to their lord.
-Pitdown Conclave will likely join Julian’s Brindinford alliance as a subordinate so long as the terms of such aren’t too onerous. The Daughters of Aine’s marriages have brought them into closer allegiance with Dragonfire Dyrr.
-Senet is one of the wealthiest territories in the region, and forms a non-friendly southern border.
-The Free Towns of Devyn are a independent minded collective of settlements

The Distant South
-Koskun is too distant at this time to meaningfully impact. The lords have reason to visit, as Garnet is Julian’s sister in law.
-Onella is the most powerful territory in the region, although too far from Brindinford and the north to meaningfully impact it. They currently participate in the giant war through the paladin Alhandra Truesoul.
-Ghed is a seaport town. Julian revived a young woman with connections there.
