Description
The Reality Wrinkle is a small bookseller’s shop in West Hill, located on a small side street called Arcane Way. The Reality Wrinkle stands in a row of similar looking shops with apartments on the upper stories, built side by side. Like other such row houses, the first story is built from the dark stone common in West Hill, while the two upper stories are wood. The bookshop proper occupies the main floor. A short series of steps leads up to the front door and main floor of the Reality Wrinkle. The outer doors, front and back are made from heavy wood. Iron bars block all windows. The Reality Wrinkle is larger within than without, accounting for the large estate. To most however, it is a simple bookshop, well stocked, but rarely open.

Stronghold Benefits

(Arcane Benefit)

Extradimensional: The majority of the structure is extradimensional which allows the owner attuned to the structure to modify the gravity & flow of time. The extradimensional rooms are also immune to scrying, tracking, and other spells and abilities subject to restrictions based on planar boundaries.

Active Spells

Special Rooms

Golem Smith (Armory)
Deep within the labyrinth library this hidden room is neatly littered with artificial limbs, armored and enhanced with bladed and blunted weaponry. Several workbenches feature tools to modify and upgrade and maintain magical constructs.

Size Cost: 1 room point
Construction Cost: 2500 gp
Enhancements: Extra-dimensional (7500), Hidden (2500), Spellbound [Animate Objects, Unseen Servant – 10] (3000 & 5000)
Benefit: When the structure is under attack, any hireling that is not a spellcaster or soldier and that the structure requires for maintenance may visit the armory and afterwards count as a guard. All those who do not know the secret of entrance into the armory must succeed at a DC 15 Intelligence (Investigation) check to identify its presence followed by a DC 15 Dexterity (Sleight of Hand) check to uncover how to enter.

Bookstore (Botique)
The shop specializes in tomes of the strangest sort, obscure philosophical treatises dealing with other dimensions and alternate realities, pseduo-theological texts of an alchemical or theosophical bent and the ravings of lunatics who delved too deeply into bizarre magical secrets. It is a simple bookshop; well stocked, but rarely open.

Size Cost: 1 room point
Construction Cost: 2500 gp
Enhancements: Secret Passage [ > Library] (2500)
Merchants: Books & Maps [Mundane] – Medium (1d10x100 gp CoH), Income: 30 × 3d4 gp / month
Benefit: A Books & Maps [Mundane] merchant is a permanent fixture in this room; though the quality changes every week, it is never less than medium (re-roll any lower result). All those who do not know the secret passage into the Reality of the Wrinkle must succeed at a DC 15 Intelligence (Investigation) check to identify its presence followed by a DC 15 Dexterity (Sleight of Hand) check to uncover how to enter.

Golem Foundry (Catacombs)
Similar to the rest of the building, rows upon row of storage space seems to extend into infinite beyond the horizon. The difference is that here, every 5-10’ is an alcove with many populated by partially constructed artificial lifeforms – golems that are assembled and animated on slabs that can be found at many intersections.

Size Cost: 1 room point
Construction Cost: 2500 gp
Enhancements: Extra-dimensional (7500), Hidden (2500), Spellbound [Animate Objects, Unseen Servant – 10] (3000 & 5000)
Servants: 120/120 golems
Benefit: When this room is first built it comes with 5 golem servants, each one counting as an unpaid, unskilled hireling for any structure or room requirements. These servants cannot speak, but are equipped by the armory to aid in defense of the Reality Wrinkle. The servants do as commanded by the owner of the structure and their allies and stand motionless in place if commands conflict; waiting until new commands are given. These golem servants can complete simple tasks like a human servant could do; fetching, cleaning, mending, laundry, serving, etc. If one of the servants leaves the Wrinkle for more than 7 days the magic holding it together will disperse and it will fall into dust.

Once per month on a significant concordance of stellar constellations, an hour-long ritual is performed by a character or hireling who can cast at least one transmutation spell. When the ritual is completed, it raises an additional 5 golem servants (if there are an adequate number materials available) that join the others in service of the Wrinkle. The golem foundry can maintain a total of 120 golem servants.
